Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday said that the Rajasthan DigiFest TiE Global Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in Jaipur from January 4 to 6, will provide a global platform for funding and mentorship to startups and young entrepreneurs from the state. He said the summit will help establish Rajasthan as a major hub for IT and startup development in India.
Chairing a review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office to assess preparations for the summit, Sharma directed officials of the Information Technology and Communication Department to complete all arrangements in close coordination.
The Chief Minister said that the summit, being organised on such a large scale in Rajasthan for the first time, is expected to see participation from over 10,000 delegates, including startups, investors, young entrepreneurs, IT professionals, educational institutions, students, and senior officials from IT and industry departments of several states across the country.
He noted that over the past two years, the state government has taken several policy initiatives for startups, leading to the creation of a new and robust startup and technology ecosystem in Rajasthan. Through this summit, startups from the state will get opportunities to secure investments exceeding ₹200 crore. In addition, startups identified under the state’s iStart programme will receive one year of mentorship through the event.
Sharma said that sectoral sessions will be organised where experts will share insights across key domains such as fintech, e-commerce, agritech, healthtech, proptech, AVGC, mediatech, sportstech, AI-ML and deeptech, benefiting startups and young entrepreneurs.
He added that pavilions of the IT and communication departments of Rajasthan and other states will provide valuable information to participants, while 114 startup stalls will offer innovators a platform to showcase their ideas.
