Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan is steadily moving towards self-reliance in the energy sector through decisive policy initiatives. In a significant national recognition, Rajasthan Discoms were honoured with the Gold Award for outstanding performance under Component-C of the PM-KUSUM Scheme at the annual awards ceremony of the All India Discoms Association, held in New Delhi. The award was presented by Union Minister for Power, Shri Manohar Lal.
Rajasthan Discoms Chairperson Ms Aarti Dogra presented the prestigious award to Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma on Wednesday evening. Expressing his happiness over the achievement, the Chief Minister congratulated all officers and employees of Rajasthan Discoms for their dedicated efforts.
He stated that, under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government remains fully committed to increasing farmers’ income by promoting the use of affordable and clean energy through solar power and solar pumps. The recognition, he said, further strengthens the state’s resolve to provide electricity to farmers during daytime hours by the year 2027.
This achievement marks a major step forward in Rajasthan’s journey towards sustainable energy development and farmer-centric power reforms.
