PVR INOX, India's largest and most premium cinema chain has announced a unique partnership with LXL Ideas Pvt. Ltd., a pioneer in producing meaningful content for children, to bring a curated selection of award-winning children's films to the big screen.
This collaboration aims to redefine how young audiences experience cinema — blending storytelling, education, and emotional intelligence in a theatrical setting. The initiative will showcase a lineup of nationally and internationally acclaimed short films that highlight real-life themes and foster values such as empathy, diversity, resilience, and social awareness.
These specially selected films are not only engaging but also thought-provoking, offering children a cinematic journey into different cultures, perspectives, and lived experiences. Each screening will be followed by an interactive workshop, led by trained facilitators, to help children explore and reflect on the themes presented. Through guided discussions and hands-on activities, students will be encouraged to think critically and express themselves freely.
"2025 is going to be a landmark year for both cinema and cinema advertising," said Mr. Gautam Dutta, CEO – Revenue & Operations, PVR INOX Ltd. "Cinema is one of the most powerful mediums to inspire young minds. Through this collaboration with LXL Ideas, we are creating an opportunity for children to engage with meaningful stories that go beyond entertainment. This initiative underscores our belief that cinemas can serve as immersive learning spaces that spark imagination, empathy, and dialogue."
"At LXL Ideas, we believe that cinema is a powerful tool for shaping young minds. This partnership with PVR INOX allows us to bring meaningful children's films to a wider audience — not just to entertain, but to educate and inspire. When children see stories that reflect real life, complex emotions, and diverse perspectives, they begin to ask questions and think deeply. That's the first step toward building a more empathetic and thoughtful generation." — Syed Sultan Ahmed, Managing Director, LXL Ideas
