Jaipur, 18 November. At the 44th India International Trade Fair being held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, a special cultural evening was organised on the occasion of Rajasthan Day. Aligned with this year’s theme, “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, the event featured mesmerising performances by Rajasthani folk artists along with Assam’s traditional Bihu dance, enthralling the audience.
The programme, held on Tuesday at the Amphitheatre Hall of Pragati Maidan, began with a lamp-lighting ceremony by the chief guest, Ms. Anju Om Prakash, Additional Resident Commissioner of Rajasthan. She was welcomed with a bouquet by Ms. Deepali Sharma, Deputy Director, Rajasthan Tourism Welcome Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Sharma shared that folk artists from both Rajasthan and Assam performed under the theme Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
