Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this is a new era for India, where the country is redefining development. Women are playing a full and equal role in this growth. He emphasized that an empowered woman is the foundation of a developed society. The grand mega conference to be held on Saturday, May 31, is dedicated to women's power and aims to honor the skills and contributions of women in the state. He stated that this event will create a unique historical moment as all the arrangements for the conference will be managed entirely by women. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks while addressing the women involved in organizing the event at Jamboree Ground on Friday evening. He closely inspected all preparations for the Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Women Empowerment Mega Conference and reviewed the layout and arrangements of the exhibition at the venue.
Prime Minister Modi to Gift Several Initiatives to the State
Dr. Yadav interacted with the women appointed to manage various aspects of the event, guided them, and encouraged them for taking on such a significant responsibility. He stated that in honor of Devi Ahilyabai, the great leader of the world's largest democracy, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi himself will be visiting Bhopal on Saturday. On this occasion, he will also present several gifts to Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, there should be no shortcomings in the arrangements. Everything must be perfectly organized, and everyone must carry out their responsibilities with full dedication and sincerity.
Devi Ahilyabai Taught Us That Determination is the Key to Achievements
The Chief Minister shared inspiring stories about Rani Durgavati, Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai, and Rani Laxmibai, stating that these women not only ruled but also sacrificed everything for the nation. Devi Ahilyabai redefined governance. She taught us that strong willpower and capability are essential to accomplish great things. He said that we are progressing by preserving our heritage and that the golden chapters of our glorious past must be brought to light. Therefore, women should come forward and move toward new horizons of development with their skills and efficiency.
Exhibition "Desh Ki Ahilyaayein" Showcasing Development
Dr. Yadav thoroughly reviewed the extensive arrangements at the venue, including the stage design, compering, seating arrangements for women participants, drinking water supply, VIP and media galleries, traffic management, food arrangements, medical and security provisions. He directed the officials to complete all arrangements in an organized and timely manner, ensuring they reflect the dignity of the event. He also visited the development exhibition titled “Desh Ki Ahilyaayein” and appreciated the products, household items, and exhibits created, managed, and organized by women. He encouraged the women participants and took selfies with them.
