Jaipur, April 5, 2026:
The first day of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission’s Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander Competitive Examination 2025 concluded peacefully in Jaipur, with more than 55% of registered candidates appearing across 199 examination centres in the district.
According to district administration officials, a total of 74,855 candidates were registered for the Day 1 examination, which was conducted in two shifts under tight security and monitoring arrangements.
Additional District Collector (East) Narendra Kumar Verma said that 41,915 candidates appeared in the first shift, while 32,940 remained absent. In the second paper, 41,543 candidates marked their attendance, while 33,312 candidates did not turn up. Overall, the average attendance across both sessions remained above 55%.
For the second day of the examination, 74,861 candidates are registered across the same 199 centres in Jaipur.
District Collector Sandesh Nayak carried out surprise inspections at multiple examination centres to review on-ground arrangements. During the inspection, he closely assessed exam halls, control rooms, security deployment, and seating arrangements, directing officials to ensure that fairness and transparency remain the highest priorities.
He warned that any negligence affecting the integrity of the recruitment examination would not be tolerated.
The district administration had put in place extensive arrangements for smooth conduct, including adequate police deployment at every centre. Prohibitory measures under Section 144 were also enforced around examination venues to prevent crowding and maintain law and order.
