Rajasthan State Gas, a joint venture of the Rajasthan Government, has developed the infrastructure to supply natural gas through pipelines to 61,466 households across the state. Rajasthan State Gas Limited (RSGL) Managing Director Shri Ranveer Singh has directed field officers to launch a focused campaign to connect more households in Kota with Domestic Piped Natural Gas (DPNG).
He said natural gas is a major step towards promoting clean and green energy, while also offering significant convenience for households. DPNG ensures a 24x7 uninterrupted supply of gas, eliminating the need for LPG cylinder booking, waiting for delivery, or handling cylinder replacement. Because natural gas is lighter, the risk of accidents is extremely low, making it a safer option for homes. All CNG stations in Kota’s RIICO area have now been connected through an online monitoring system.
Chairing a review meeting with officers from Jaipur, Kota, Kukas, Neemrana, Gwalior and Sheopur, Shri Ranveer Singh emphasised strict compliance with safety standards at all CNG stations. He instructed officials to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and keep gas leakage levels at a minimum across the CNG–PNG network. He added that RSGL is accelerating infrastructure expansion in Kota while consistently improving service delivery.
Deputy General Managers Shri Vivek Ranjan and Shri Vivek Srivastava said RSGL is working to connect more industrial units and commercial establishments to the CNG–PNG network.
Chief Financial Officer Shri Deeptanshu Parikh and IT Deputy Manager Shri Gagandeep Rajoriya reported that all services at RIICO-area CNG stations have now been fully integrated with online service systems, with a strong focus on safety and service excellence.
The meeting was attended by Deputy General Managers Shri Anand Arya, Shri C.R. Chaudhary, Shri Shiv Dixit, Media Coordinator Shri Rajendra Sharma, Manager Shri Atul Mishra, and other RSGL personnel.
