The National Urban Conclave 2025 was held at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi on Saturday under the chief guestship of Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal Khattar. The conclave witnessed in-depth discussions on the new chapter and roadmap of India’s urban development.
Rajasthan’s Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Urban Development, Housing, and Local Self Governance, Shri Jhabar Singh Khara, participated in the event and shared detailed insights into Rajasthan’s urban development initiatives and future strategies.
Shri Khara stated that on the occasion of this conclave, Team Urban — comprising policymakers, urban development ministers, and innovators — came together to hold extensive deliberations on creating sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready cities.
He emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this conclave symbolizes the nation’s collective commitment towards achieving the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision — by building a technology-driven and people-centric urban ecosystem that enhances the quality of life for every citizen.
During the event, the Viksit Bharat City Exhibition — an embodiment of the vision of future Indian cities — was also inaugurated. The exhibition showcased innovations inspired by sustainability, technology-enabled security, and inclusivity, offering a vibrant glimpse into a humane and progressive urban India.
