Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla conducted an inspection of Hinouti Gaudham in the Gangev Development Block of Rewa district on Thursday. During the visit, he reviewed the progress of ongoing construction works and issued clear instructions to concerned officials to ensure timely completion.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed that the remaining construction work of the under-construction rest house be completed by February 15. He informed that the construction of the boundary wall of Hinouti Gaudham has already been approved and instructed the Gram Panchayat to commence the work immediately. He also asked the SDM Sirmour to issue all necessary administrative and technical approvals without delay.
Shri Shukla instructed officials to make proper arrangements for housing cattle by improving two old gaushalas and completing the new gaushala being constructed near the rest house. He further emphasized that construction of other gaushalas should be accelerated. During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister also performed worship of cows and fed them jaggery and chickpeas.
Highlighting the long-term vision, Shri Shukla stated that 34 gaushalas are proposed to be developed at Hinouti Gaudham. Out of these, gaushalas spread over 47 hectares will be developed through private capital investment, for which land identification must be completed at the earliest. He directed that the entire gaudham area should be properly demarcated and boundary markers installed to avoid any dispute between private and government land.
He said that Hinouti Gaudham is being developed as a model gaushala, and instructed officials to earmark two acres of land for natural farming. He also directed that a master plan for the development of the gaushala be prepared and displayed prominently, so that complete information about development works is available to the public.
