Bhopal, April 7: Madhya Pradesh Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel on Tuesday administered the oath of office to the newly appointed State Information Commissioners of the Madhya Pradesh State Information Commission.
The oath ceremony was held at the Sandipani Auditorium of Lok Bhavan in Bhopal.
Governor Patel administered the oath to Shri Alok Nagar and Shri Rajesh Bhatt, who formally assumed charge as State Information Commissioners. Following the ceremony, the Governor congratulated both appointees and extended his best wishes by presenting them with floral bouquets.
The event was attended by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, and Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, who were present on the dais.
The oath proceedings were conducted by Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla.
Several senior dignitaries and officials were present at the ceremony, including Human Rights Commission Chairman Shri Avadhesh Pratap Singh, Chief Information Commissioner Shri Vijay Yadav, Information Commissioners Shri Omkar Nath, Dr. Vandana Gandhi, and Dr. Umashankar Pachauri.
Also present were Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Principal Secretary to the Governor Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office Shri Alok Singh, Bhopal Police Commissioner Shri Sanjay Kumar, along with public representatives, senior administrative officers, family members of the newly sworn-in commissioners, and officials from Lok Bhavan and the State Information Commission.
