As the Rajasthan government completed two years in office, Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar on Thursday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth over ₹3.51 crore in Kota district.
The Development Rath Yatra of the Sangod Assembly constituency reached the Simlia area, where the minister inaugurated a ₹8.30 lakh augmentation work under the Public Water Scheme at Khedli Mahadeet. He also unveiled the plaque for a missing-link road project from Khedli Ghata to Sarola, to be built at a cost of ₹2.22 crore.
In addition, foundation stones were laid for several projects, including culvert repair work between Amarpura and Aton costing ₹30 lakh, tubewell and pipeline work worth ₹16.50 lakh in Amarpura, and a soil-gravel road from Amarpura to Nayagaon with an investment of ₹75 lakh.
Kota District Head Mukesh Meghwal and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
On the occasion of Good Governance Day, the Energy Minister also paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
