Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is organizing 2nd Covid-19 Vaccination Camp for its employees and their spouses from June 1 to 5, 2021. The vaccination camp is being organized by Dr. M.A. Ansari Health Centre and Faculty of Dentistry of the university in collaboration with District Health Service, Government of NCT of Delhi.All employees of the university along with their spouses in the age group of 45 years and above will be given first dose of the vaccine on first come first serve basis from 10:00 am to 02:00pm.Earlier, Prof. Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, JMI urged all employees of the university to participate in large numbers for receiving vaccination with their families. She appealed them to take this up as an individual and collective mission to rid the nation of the scourge of the Corona Virus.Prof. Akhtar also said that teachers, who are considered role models by other sections of the society, should lead by their personal examples and motivate others, their near and dear ones, their relatives and neighbours to shake off their hesitancy and receive vaccination.The Vice Chancellor emphasised that there is no option other than the medical intervention, which is vaccination, to fight the Corona Virus. It will be our contribution towards making ourselves safe and moving towards normalcy in our academic and personal lives.First Covid-19 Vaccination Camp was organized from April 12 to 13, 2021 at JMI.
