Students from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) showcased their artistic talents at the Parakram Divas Workshop held at the iconic Red Fort on January 24, 2024.The event, commemorating the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, brought together students and enthusiasts to celebrate the legacy of the great leader.
The students actively participated in the workshop, where they were given the opportunity to express their creativity through paintings and posters dedicated to Netaji. The vibrant artwork produced by JMI students garnered significant attention and appreciation from both organizers and the public present at the event.
The public engagement with the students' work was evident as attendees admired and acknowledged the artistic prowess displayed in their paintings and posters. The event provided a platform for the students to not only showcase their artistic skills but also to contribute meaningfully to the celebration of Parakram Divas.

The outstanding performance of the students did not go unnoticed, and as a result, they have been extended another invitation for future events. This recognition is a testament to the talent and dedication of JMI students.
Nine students who have participated in the event under the guidance of Prof. Bindulika Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts are; Isra, Madhu Yadav, Sobia, Aftab Shaikh Hashmi, Anantara Raj, Noreen Fatima, Mohd Aatif, Tripti Roy and Abdul Quadir.
Reflecting on the experience, a participating student expressed, "It was a great honor to be a part of the workshop. The opportunity to create art in honor of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's birthday was inspiring, and the positive response from the public was truly heartening."
JMI looks forward to future collaborations and opportunities to contribute to such impactful events, continuing to showcase the creative brilliance of its students on a national platform.
