The Jamia Community Radio (90.4 Mhz) run by AJK Mass Communication Research Centre (AJKMCRC), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is organizing a two-day workshop for the regular students of class IX and X of Jamia Senior Secondary School from November 23, 2019.
During the workshop, the students will be taught radio production and programming skills as well as functioning of a radio station and basics of radio script writing.
The workshop will be inaugurated by Mr. Bhim Prakash Sharma, Station Head of All India Raio, Delhi.
The workshop would be conducted by Mr. Mobin Ahmed Khan and Mr. Dilip Kumar Jha, both Programme Executives of All India Radio, New Delhi.
The purpose of conducting the workshop is to enrich the students about functioning of radio as a medium of communication, said Dr. Shakeel Akhtar, Producer, Jamia Community Radio.
Mr. Amlan Jyoti Majumdar, Director, External Services, Division of All India Radio, New Delhi shall be the Chief Guest in the valedictory session of the workshop on November 24, 2019.
