Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) re-opened today in offline mode for all classes except first semester/year for the academic session 2022-23. More than 70 % students visited the campus and attended their classes peacefully. Students were quite happy and enthusiastic on their first day in the university campus as they were attending classes in online mode so far due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Classes in offline mode started today in Jamia Schools also where more than 90% attendance was registered on the first day.JMI Vice Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar took a round of the university campus to see the arrangements.
She was happy to see students back on the campus in large numbers and enjoying the campus life. For smooth functioning several teams from the Office of the Chief Proctor were present on the campus to assist students and to maintain law and order.
Offline Classes for the fresh batch ( first semester/ year) will commence from August 1st, 2022.
