Jaipur, March 25, 2026: The district administration has issued strict directives to ensure uninterrupted and timely supply of domestic LPG cylinders across Jaipur. District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni chaired a key meeting of the District Gas Distribution Committee, emphasizing zero tolerance for lapses in supply and strict action against black marketing and irregularities.
Reviewing the overall distribution system, the Collector instructed officials to ensure that all consumers receive LPG cylinders on time without disruption. He warned that negligence in supply management would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Gas marketing companies were directed to run regular awareness campaigns to prevent misinformation and maintain public trust. The administration also stressed rational resource utilization, directing that LPG connections be discontinued in households where piped natural gas (PNG) connections are already available, in accordance with rules.
Strict enforcement measures have been put in place, with police and enforcement teams asked to act firmly against hoarding, illegal storage, and black marketing of LPG cylinders. Authorities have been told to initiate stringent legal action against violators.
The Collector further instructed gas agencies to ensure their helplines remain functional at all times and respond promptly to consumer complaints. Quick and satisfactory grievance redressal has been identified as a top administrative priority.
Following the meeting, sub-divisional officers conducted surprise inspections of gas agencies across the district. These inspections assessed stock availability, demand-supply balance, distribution efficiency, and the status of complaint resolution. Officials were directed to address consumer grievances swiftly and ensure transparency in the distribution system.
