
The Gems and Jewelery Manufacturers Association in collaboration with the Industries and Commerce Department and Enterprise Promotion Institute will organize a 4-day Diwali Fair Exhibition from October 20 at the Rajasthan Haat Bazaar at Jaipur’s Jal Mahal.
SS Shah, Additional Director, Industries Department said that skilled artisans (handicraftsmen) and micro, small entrepreneurs (MSMEs) from different sectors are also participating in this exhibition, which will run from October 20 to 23. The theme of Rajasthani Art and Culture has been given to the exhibition.
Additional Director Shri Vipul Jani said that handicraftsmen would get a new identity and open market with the cooperation of the institutions. He also urged the general public to attend such exhibitions to encourage the handicraftsmen.
National President of Gems and Jewelery Manufacturers Association Mr. Pawan Kumar Soni informed that 50 more handmade jewellery, textile stalls will be set up in the exhibition. The objective of the exhibition is to give a better platform to the art of handicraftsmen and make them financially prosperous. The exhibition is being organized by Mr. Somil Jagjyo.
