The newly sanctioned halt for Train Nos. 54085/54086 comes as part of Indian Railways' broader effort to enhance passenger convenience and strengthen regional connectivity. Railway officials stated that the approval was granted following a detailed assessment of passenger demand and operational feasibility.
Until now, residents of Patuwas Meharana depended primarily on nearby stations such as Jhajjarli and Charkhi Dadri, located approximately 6 km and 7 km away, respectively. The additional halt is expected to reduce travel time and improve first- and last-mile connectivity for local passengers.
The station currently serves multiple passenger and express services, but the inclusion of the Delhi–Satrod Passenger train is expected to significantly improve access to affordable and reliable transportation.
