
ICC World Cup: England win toss, elect to bat against India

In the ICC Cricket World Cup, England won the toss and elected to bat against India at Birmingham. There is one change in the Indian team, Rishabh Pant replaced Vijay Shankar.
India are a win away from making it to the top four, a loss for England will put them on the brink of a World Cup exit as England have already lost three pool matches.
Australia are at the top of the table with 14 points from eight matches, while unbeaten India are second with 11 points from six games. New Zealand are third with 11 points from eight matches. Pakistan are fourth with nine points from eight games.
England are fifth with eight points, followed by Bangladesh at the sixth spot and Sri Lanka at seventh. South Africa, West Indies and Afghanistan are the bottom three and they are out of the semi-final race.
