Schoolnet, a leading EdTech company providing technology-driven education solutions, has announced a partnership with the Tribal Area Development Department, Government of Rajasthan. Under this collaboration, the two will jointly deploy tech-enabled learning programmes for students across 24 tribal districts of the state and provide digital training to nearly 540 teachers.
As part of the partnership, a dedicated working group will be constituted to closely monitor and evaluate the implementation of the programmes. The initiative aims to strengthen the quality of education while accelerating the adoption of EdTech solutions in tribal regions.
The collaboration will focus on three key components:
ReadToMe:
An AI-powered solution that uses a multisensory approach to digitise English textbooks prescribed by state education boards. The platform features a user interface in regional languages to improve accessibility. Students from Classes 6 to 12 will be able to access textbooks digitally with ease. The solution will be deployed by Schoolnet in partnership with English Helper Inc., the technology developer.
Special in-person editions will also be made available for teachers, along with student-centric editions accessible virtually. ReadToMe has demonstrated strong outcomes in improving students’ reading and comprehension skills while enhancing teaching effectiveness.
Geneo:
Schoolnet’s proprietary learning platform will be aligned with the Rajasthan State Board curriculum, enabling students to access enriched digital content beyond textbooks. This includes assessments, teacher mentoring, and live virtual classes. Built on the principles of Learn, Apply, Revise, and Assess, Geneo supports self-paced learning during and after school hours. In the first phase, the solution will be introduced for Classes 9 and 10, covering Mathematics and Science.
Teacher Training:
Recognising teacher capacity-building as critical to successful digitalisation, comprehensive training programmes will be conducted to equip educators with the skills to use advanced digital tools. Teachers will be trained in content creation, virtual teaching, assessment management, tracking student progress, and classroom engagement. The programme, including Workspace for Education, will be delivered by Schoolnet with support from Google for Education.
