New Delhi: Before Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presents the budget at 11 AM today, a piece of relief news has emerged—LPG gas cylinder prices have been reduced. From today, commercial LPG gas cylinders have become cheaper. Oil marketing companies have cut the price of a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder by ₹7. Now, in Delhi, its price is ₹1,797.
However, there has been no change in domestic gas cylinder prices. The price of a 14 kg domestic cylinder has remained stable since August 1, 2024. The rates are ₹803 in Delhi, ₹829 in Kolkata, ₹802.50 in Mumbai, and ₹818.50 in Chennai.
This is the second price reduction for LPG cylinders in 2025. Prices were also reduced on January 1. On December 1, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder was ₹1,818.50, which has now dropped to ₹1,797.
