Jaipur, March 6, 2026: With the objective of sharing the latest techniques and treatment methods in the field of hand surgery, a pre-conference workshop was organized at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, as part of the 8th Annual Indo–US Hand Surgery Conference. The workshop is being conducted in collaboration with the Kudav–Mudgal Foundation and Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH), along with Rajasthan Orthopedics Surgeon Association (ROSA), Jaipur Orthopaedic Society (JOS), the Jaipur Hand Surgery Association, and the Rajasthan Association of Plastic Surgeons. Around 40 doctors were present at the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Amit Kumar Vyas, Conference Organizing Secretary and Consultant, Hand Surgery, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, said, “Expert doctors from India and abroad discussed and demonstrated modern techniques related to hand surgery. During the workshop, special training sessions on distal radius and metacarpal fixation was conducted on bone models, enabling young surgeons and medical professionals to gain practical hands-on experience. The participants attending the workshop got an opportunity to understand the latest treatment approaches, surgical techniques, and international practices in the field of hand surgery.”
