Jaipur, August 24, 2026: Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, successfully hosted the 6th Exclusive Paediatric Airway Seed Workshop today, bringing together healthcare professionals for an intensive academic and practical training programme on advanced paediatric airway management.
The workshop was organised by the Department of Anaesthesiology and Pain Management, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, in academic partnership with the Airway Management Foundation (AMF) and the Jaipur Society of Anaesthesiologists (JSA). More than 70 medical delegates took part in the hands-on simulation training. Padma Shri Dr. Maya Tandon was the Chief Guest, while S. P. Sharma was the Guest of Honour.
The single-day programme addressed the practical and clinical challenges involved in pediatric airway emergencies. Participants attended paediatric airway-specific academic sessions, hands-on manikin-based training using the latest airway management equipment, and interactive case discussions on complex pediatric airway scenarios.
The workshop brought together senior professionals associated with AMF and JSA, including Dr Sunil Kumar, Secretary, AMF; Dr Rajeev Lochan Tiwari, Organising President; Dr Arun Kumar Saxena, President, JSA; Dr Ritu Sharma, Organising Secretary; Dr Jyotsna Bhargava, Co-Organising Secretary; and Dr Akhil Agarwal, Secretary, JSA.
