A five-day employability skills training programme was inaugurated at Government Polytechnic, Kanker, on December 19, 2025.
The training is being organised under the aegis of the voluntary organisation Nandi Foundation.
Girl students of Government Polytechnic Kanker along with students from ITI Makdi are participating in the programme.
The training is being conducted by trainer Madhurika Sahu, who is preparing students for practical workplace challenges they may face after securing employment.
The programme focuses on developing teamwork abilities and helping students understand how to work effectively in professional environments.
Students are also receiving training in soft skills, including effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Polytechnic Principal Dr. Shailendra Singh stated that the programme will be highly beneficial for technical students, helping them prepare for employment and future workplace challenges, and extended his best wishes for their bright future.
