Students from the Department of Design and Innovation recently took part in the 50 Hours Filmmaking Challenge at the 14th edition of the India Film Project (IFP), competing in the Mobile Vertical Category. This prestigious challenge attracted entries from across India and internationally. Their film, “Afwaayein Amar Rahe”, was selected among the top 10 finalists and went on to win the Silver Film of the Year award in its category.
The jury featured renowned filmmakers such as Devashish Makhija, Kabir Khan, and Sooni Taraporevala. The winning films, including ours, were showcased at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai on the event's final day.
