Udaipur, March 31, 2026: Rajasthan Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar visited Udaipur on Tuesday and inaugurated newly constructed government school buildings, computer labs, and other upgraded facilities in Wati, Badgaon, and Bedla gram panchayats under the Badgaon Panchayat Samiti.
The new infrastructure has been developed by the IIFL Foundation, aimed at strengthening education access and learning environments in rural areas.
Addressing a gathering in Wati, the minister said that education is shaped not only by classroom teaching but also by the surrounding environment and values, stressing that schools must nurture both academic excellence and human values.
“Our effort is to provide children with quality education inspired by human values. संस्कार are shaped significantly by the environment around them,” he said.
He also felicitated meritorious students who delivered strong performances in the Class 10 and 12 board examinations, encouraging them to draw inspiration from the legacy of Mewar’s historic icons.
The minister highlighted Rajasthan’s education progress, noting that the state has moved from 14th to 4th rank nationally in education outcomes, crediting teachers, administrators, and students for the improvement.
In a key administrative update, he said that for the first time board examination results were declared within March itself, and assured that all students will receive textbooks at the beginning of the new academic session.
Dilawar urged parents to consider government schools, asserting that public institutions are now delivering quality education comparable to, and in some cases better than, private schools, without the barriers of admission interviews.
