Delhi Public School RK Puram hosted its annual inter-school science festival, “Sapere Aude” (meaning “Dare to Know”), with participation from 34 schools across Delhi NCR. The festival featured 11 on-site and four off-site events designed to promote scientific creativity, innovation, and practical learning.
The activities included science quiz competitions, model making, slide presentations, debates, ad-making, food adulteration testing, waste-based creativity challenges, and innovative teaching methodology presentations. Students showcased projects on subjects ranging from space science and biotechnology to environmental sustainability and food safety.
Several experts and academicians judged the competitions, including Deepak Gaur, Jaydeep Bhattacharya, and other professionals from educational and scientific institutions.
Chief Guest Vanita Sehgal praised the participants for their innovation and emphasized the importance of applying scientific knowledge beyond classrooms to real-world challenges. She also appreciated the efforts of teachers and volunteers in making the event successful.
