Jaipur, August 11. Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari inaugurated the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Mumbai at the Jio World Convention Centre on monday, emphasizing the state’s growing prominence as a premier tourism destination. The event was attended by Principal Secretary of the Department of Tourism, Shri Rajesh Yadav, IAS, along with key stakeholders from India’s travel industry.
Deputy CM highlighted the Government of Rajasthan’s commitment to boosting the tourism sector through various initiatives and opportunities. The state offers vast potential for eco-tourism, with 3 national parks, 26 wildlife sanctuaries, 5 tiger reserves, and 36 conservation reserves. Key government efforts include public-private partnerships (PPP) to develop tourism infrastructure, promotion of agri-tourism and adventure tourism, and the creation of new tourism circuits focused on heritage, tribal areas and wellness.
The Rajasthan Tourism Policy- 2025 provides incentives such as hotel subsidies to attract investments and position the state as a global tourism hub. Recent developments include 1,600 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹1.37 lakh crore for tourism projects, fast-tracking infrastructure development, job creation and heritage conservation. The policy also streamlines registration for tourism units and encourages both domestic and foreign investments through events like the upcoming Rajasthan Partnership Conclave in December, 2025.
Show organizer Fairfest Media Limited, India’s leading travel trade, expressed gratitude for Rajasthan Tourism’s consistent participation over the past three decades in TTF, OTM, and BLTM. These platforms, strategically timed before the peak Durga Puja, Diwali, and winter vacation seasons, enable Rajasthan Tourism and its stakeholders to engage with and market to the Indian travel and tourism industry.
