Raipur, March 17th: In the presence of Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur, on Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Sharma inaugurated the free Operation Check-up and Artificial Limb Measurement Camp organized in Dadabadi, Raipur. On this occasion, he addressed the esteemed members of the institution, the disabled individuals, their families, and dignitaries of Raipur, expressing satisfaction upon learning about various projects undertaken by the organization. He mentioned that the services provided by the institution, such as free operations, fitting artificial limbs, daily meals for 5000 people, running Gurukul, operating Narayan Children Academy School for economically disadvantaged children of 600 laborers, providing vocational training in computers, mobiles, sewing, mehndi to hundreds of disabled individuals, and organizing mass marriages for them, are commendable efforts towards empowering the disabled physically, socially, economically, and intellectually.
He assured that every possible assistance would be provided for the welfare projects aimed at the benefit of the disabled in Chhattisgarh. He expressed gratitude while congratulating the founder Kailash Manav and President Prashant Agrawal of the institution. In the beginning, the chief guests, Deputy Chief Minister, and distinguished guests including Sitaram Agrawal, Lokesh Chandrakant Jain, Vijay Kankaria, Abhay Bhansali, Prem Shankar Gotiya, Sanjay Parakh, Swami Rajeshwaranand, Deepak Agrawal, Ms. Meera Rao, Om Prakash Nigam, Rajendra Kumar Seekri, Rajendra Kumar Varma, and Yogesh Gupta were felicitated according to the tradition of Mewar's Maharana Pratap.
While providing information about the 39-year-old services of the institution, a vision for the next 5 years was presented. Coordinator Rohit Tiwari, while presenting the report of the camp, mentioned that today more than 1500 disabled individuals attended the camp, who were thoroughly examined by the institution's P&O team, and measurements were taken for fitting artificial limbs for 530 disabled individuals and calipers for 250 individuals. Selections were also made for more than 100 disabled patients for surgical treatment, who will undergo free operations in Udaipur.
Raipur Ashram in-charge Bharat Paliwal and Hari Prasad Ladda stated that disabled individuals will be called to Raipur again after 2 to 3 months for casting and measurements for Narayan Limbs. These artificial limbs made by the institution are of high quality, lightweight, and durable. Besides patients from Kavardha, Bilaspur, Durg, Balod, Bemetara, and Mahasamund districts, patients also came from Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Bengal to the camp. Free meals, tea, and snacks were provided to all patients. The successful conduct of this camp was made possible by the unity and hard work of the institution's 40-member team.
Madhyapradesh State Coordinator Mahatma Rajesh Chauhan, Senior Member National Executive Committee Representative Mahant Mukesh Nath, Lokesh Jain of the Indian Jain Organization, local social workers Jayant Patel, Sanjay Parakh, RK Verma, Giridhar Sahu, Gopal Sultaniya, Ram Khilwa Verma were also present. The camp was managed by Jasbir Singh and Lal Singh. Gratitude was expressed. The operations were conducted under the leadership prowess.
