In compliance with the directions of Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, various activities were organized across Jaipur district as part of the Vande Ganga Water Conservation Public Campaign. On Wednesday, Jaipur Forest Division’s Bassi Range conducted several water and environmental conservation programs in village Dhula Ravji.

Event Location & Purpose:
The campaign took place in Dhula Ravji village, focusing on community-led conservation of water, environment, and biodiversity.
Tree Plantation Drive:
25 saplings of Bargad (Banyan) and Peepal were planted near R.F.B.D.P. Burada’s mine site, promoting green cover.
Desiltation Work:
Community volunteers cleaned silt deposits from a local anicut (check dam) to improve water storage capacity.
Pledge Ceremony:
Attendees, including villagers and officials, took an oath to reduce plastic use and protect natural water sources.
Involvement of Key Stakeholders:
Present were Assistant Conservator of Forests, Jaipur, Range Forest Officer (II), Sarpanch of Dhamasya Panchayat, members of Gram Van Suraksha Samiti, and local NGOs.
Plant Distribution for Rural Women:
Women from the village were given free saplings from Dhula Ravji Nursery for plantation in their homes and fields.
Bird Water Bowls Installed:
Earthen water bowls were placed for birds, supporting wildlife care during the summer season.
Cleanliness Drive:
The nursery premises were cleaned as part of a cleanliness and hygiene awareness effort.
Community Engagement Message:
The program encouraged active community involvement in preserving "Jal, Jungle, and Jeevan" (Water, Forests, and Life).
Environmental Awareness Goal:
The campaign aimed to raise environmental awareness among citizens and promote sustainable habits.
