July 24, 2026: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare successfully conducted a three-day Ayushman Arogya Camp from July 22 to 24, 2026, at Kartavya Bhawan-I, Kartavya Bhawan-II and Kartavya Bhawan-III in New Delhi.
The initiative was organised by the Ministry's Central TB Division (CTD) in collaboration with the Delhi State TB Cell, the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) and the Swasth Nagrik Abhiyan (SNA) Division.
The camps aimed to promote preventive healthcare, enable early detection of diseases and raise awareness about healthy lifestyles among government officials and Central Secretariat employees working in the Kartavya Bhawans.
More than 1,700 government officials and employees from over 16 ministries availed themselves of free preventive health screenings and medical consultations during the three-day initiative.
The health services included blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment, haemoglobin testing, chest X-ray screening, medical consultations and referrals wherever required.
The camps also featured Nikshay vehicles equipped with advanced diagnostic facilities, enabling on-site screening and early detection of tuberculosis (TB).
The initiative was inaugurated on July 22 at Kartavya Bhawan-I by Aradhana Patnaik, Additional Secretary and Mission Director, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. On July 23, the camp was held at Kartavya Bhawan-II, where Dr. Shobini Rajan, Deputy Director General, Central TB Division, interacted with participants and highlighted the importance of early detection, timely testing and preventive healthcare in achieving the goal of a TB-free India.
