The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) successfully organised the Study Australia Virtual Education Showcase under the Australian Government’s Australia India Business Exchange (AIBX) program. The virtual showcase brought together leading Australian Institutions and Australian EdTech companies to showcase their capabilities in online education and education technology.
The 3-day showcase started with a welcome address by Ms Catherine Gallagher, Minister – Commercial, Australian High Commission New Delhi and Head of Australian Trade and Investment Commission – South Asia. The Hon Barry O’Farrell AO, Australia’s High Commissioner to India delivered the keynote address on “Australia’s Road Ahead”.
During the panel discussion, eminent speakers from Australia and India deliberated on how Universities have embraced COVID challenges, the Digital Transformation in Higher Education with best practice examples of technological development through collaboration, the Future of Learning and the EdTech ecosystem of India and Australia.
The showcase offered students, schools, institutions, EdTech companies and entrepreneurs a platform to discuss, deliberate and explore best practice and solutions for digital education. The three-day program included a mix of panel discussions, masterclasses, one-on-one discussions, product demos from Australian EdTech providers and virtual booths.
