An Air India flight carrying approximately 120 Indian nationals evacuated from Iran will arrive in Jaisalmer today. The returnees will undergo initial health screening at the airport before being transferred under civil administration escort to a quarantine facility set up by the Indian Army.
Another batch of around 250 evacuees is expected to arrive from Iran on Sunday. They too will be quarantined at the Army facility in Jaisalmer.
To support the civil administration in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, the Army has established dedicated quarantine centers in Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and several other locations across the country.
