Medical Education Minister Gajendra Singh informed the Rajasthan Assembly on Tuesday that the state government has approved ₹7 crore for setting up a GNM Nursing School in Ajmer, as announced in the Budget 2024–25. He assured the House that the construction will be completed within the next 18 months.
Responding during Question Hour to supplementary queries raised by MLA Anita Bhadel, the minister said that 3,000 square metres of land has already been allocated for the nursing college and 13 posts have been sanctioned.
He further stated that tenders for the project will open on February 10, 2026, marking the next step toward implementation of the project aimed at strengthening nursing education and healthcare infrastructure in the region.
