Rajasthan Minister of Cooperation, Shri Gautam Kumar, has announced the recruitment of 49 vacant positions through the Cooperative Recruitment Board in Rajfed. He stated that these positions will be filled promptly on a contractual basis to ensure that there are no disruptions in the work related to farmers.
During a review meeting at the Ministry building, Shri Kumar emphasized the need to strengthen the fertilizer distribution system in the state by studying the Punjab pattern and adopting similar practices from other states like Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. He directed the authorities to strengthen the cooperative sector by improving the procurement and distribution system of fertilizers through cooperative societies.
Shri Kumar also instructed that centers where no purchases of mustard and chickpeas were made during the previous season should not be selected for the upcoming season. However, if there is a demand for establishing new centers in the future, it should be considered. He ensured that all arrangements for procurement in the upcoming season should be made on time and warned of strict disciplinary action against any irregularities in the procurement system.
Regarding the animal feed factory operated by Rajfed in Jhotwara, Jaipur, Shri Kumar directed the installation of a new plant to increase production and strengthen the distribution system of animal feed. He also instructed to seek the services of technical experts for this purpose.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperation, Shrimati Shuchi Tyagi, informed that the Cooperative Recruitment Board has initiated a new recruitment process. She emphasized the need for transparency in the procurement process, the expansion of the fertilizer and seed business, and the establishment of new animal feed plants. The officials of Rajfed were given directions in this regard during the meeting, which was attended by relevant authorities.
