Chhattisgarh: Health and Infrastructure Updates (Non-Bribery Actions)
While enforcement actions dominated headlines, Chhattisgarh also saw administrative developments:
Approval of ₹64.80 crore for road and drainage construction across four urban stretches on NH-130A.
Sanction of ₹45.83 crore for the Sonkachhar Reservoir Project, expected to benefit irrigation for nearly 1,600 hectares of farmland.
Overall Picture
These coordinated actions across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh reflect an aggressive stance by vigilance agencies and ACB units against corruption at various levels of governance. Senior officials across states reiterated that corruption will not be tolerated, and strict departmental and legal action will follow in all confirmed cases.
