The Department of Urban Administration and Development has approved ₹2.34 crore for 11 infrastructure development works in the Raipur Municipal Corporation area. The approval orders were issued by the department following the consent of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration Minister Mr. Arun Sao.
These works have been sanctioned under the Infrastructure Head of the financial year 2025–26. After the Deputy Chief Minister’s approval, formal sanction orders were released through the Directorate.
In Ward No. 8 (Mahatma Gandhi Ward), two cement concrete (CC) road projects have been approved with allocations of ₹9.5 lakh and ₹9.98 lakh, respectively. Additionally, ₹16.70 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of a CC road and drainage system in the same ward.
In Ward No. 3 (Sant Kabir Das Ward), approvals have been granted for the construction of three CC roads and drainage works, with allocations of ₹30 lakh and two separate works of ₹19 lakh each.
The department has also approved funds for five development works in Ward No. 5 (Banjari Mata Ward). These include two CC road and culvert construction projects costing ₹35 lakh and ₹18.44 lakh, respectively. Additionally, two CC road projects have been sanctioned with allocations of ₹17.69 lakh and ₹19.13 lakh, along with ₹40.44 lakh approved for road and drainage construction in the ward.
