Jaipur, January 7. Under the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhajan Lal Sharma and the directions of Medical Minister Mr. Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, strict action is being ensured against adulteration to provide pure food items to the residents of the state. In this series, under the Shuddh Aahar Milavat Par War campaign, a major action was taken in Jaipur on Wednesday, seizing approximately 10,000 liters of vegetable ghee. Samples were also collected from other locations.
Food Safety Commissioner Dr. T. Subhmangala informed that under the Shuddh Aahar Milavat Par War campaign, led by Chief Medical and Health Officer, Jaipur First, Dr. Ravi Shekhawat, 9,853 liters of Ashoka brand vegetable ghee were seized from M/s Rukmani Enterprises located in Kukarkheda Mandi on suspicion of adulteration. Samples of two different batches of Ashoka vegetable ghee were taken on the spot, and one sample of Nature Fresh vegetable ghee was also collected. Notably, a sample of Ashoka vegetable ghee taken from the same firm in September 2025 was found substandard.
Additionally, a chili powder sample was taken from M/s Saini Kirana Store, Road No. 17, VKI, and 150 kg of chili powder was seized. Similarly, in the VKI area, a sample of Mahan brand ghee was taken from M/s Agarwal Enterprises, a coriander powder sample from Mukesh Departmental Store, and a mustard oil sample from Chaumu Kirana Store. Further action will be taken upon receipt of the test reports of the samples. Food Safety Officers Vinod Kumar Sharma, Veerendra Singh, Vishal Mittal, and Pawan Gupta were involved in this action.
