Finance Minister Suresh Khanna announced that the state government has allocated 12.4% of the budget to education and 6% to healthcare, while 19.5% has been earmarked for capital expenditure to accelerate infrastructure and development.
The government will launch new schemes worth ₹43,000 crore, including the establishment of a State Data Authority and Data Centre Cluster to strengthen digital governance and data infrastructure.
Key infrastructure allocations include:
₹34,468 crore for roads and bridges
₹3,000 crore for road construction and widening
₹18,000 crore for irrigation projects
The government also emphasized improving the Ease of Doing Business through the Jan Vishwas principle, simplifying registration, licensing, and industrial procedures.
Skill development and employment remain a priority. The government stated that youth skill training and employment-oriented programs will be expanded in mission mode, ensuring skilled individuals remain employable.

Per capita income reached ₹1,09,844, more than double compared to 2016-17
Estimated per capita income for 2025-26: ₹1.20 lakh
Over 9 lakh youth trained, 5 lakh placed in jobs
