The 2024-25 edition of the Sports For All (SFA) Championship will see 10 cities hosting this grassroots biggest championship with Delhi hosting the first Championship starting on October 5 at the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. This year, 14,500 athletes from 545 schools across Delhi NCR will compete in 19 sports across five different venues. The 2024 edition will also celebrate girl athletes and coaches as part of the "She is Gold," and "Coaches Day" initiatives, respectively, during the Championship.
Sports For All (SFA) is committed to professionalising, organising, and monetising grassroots sports, aiming to foster a culture that values and invests in sports nationwide. The championship will run until October 11, covering every corner of the City.
Spread across the city, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium which has been a host to some of the biggest sporting events in the country like that of the CommonWealth Games in 2010 will be hosting five olympics sports Athletics, Basketball, Football,Tennis and Volleyball as well as indigenous sport, Kho Kho. Indira Gandhi Sports Complex will feature Badminton, Chess, Kabaddi, Karate, Table tennis, Taekwondo, and Yogasana. Gymnastics will take place at the Gymnastics Academy in Dwarka, Shooting at the Siri Fort Sports Complex, and Swimming at the Dr. Syama Prasad Swimming Pool Complex.

“She is Gold” Day, dedicated to celebrating women in sports, will take place on October 8. On this day, 90% of the matches will feature female athletes and officials. The day involves special matches with female athletes, coaches, and officials.
Notably, for the first time, SFA has received 538 registrations from an all-girls school, St. Anthony's Senior Secondary School, New Delhi, underscoring the growing inclusivity and enthusiasm for sports among young women.
The following day, October 9, will be ‘Coach Day,’ honouring and celebrating the contributions of coaches. Friendly matches will be organised specifically for coaches to recognize their dedication and impact.
