
Freedom run, film festival and lectures arranged including plantation in campus.Jamia Millia Islamia organised several programs in campus today on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 151th birthday.University Register AP Siddiqui launched the flag hoisting program titled Fit India Freedom Run at the campus. The program was launched by Chief Proctor and the guest of the event, Professor Wasim A Khan, Professor Mehtab Alam Khan, DSW and University students, teachers and non-teaching staff including Professor Iqrar M Khan participated.After visiting the university and surrounding areas, the freedom run ended at the Mujeeb Bagh Community Center of the University where the registrar, Jamia Millia Islamia campaigned. In addition to the registrar, DSW, Chief Proctor, Security Advisor, Teachers and Other university officers participated.Mr. Wimal Bhai, Convener of National Alliance of People’s Movements (NAPM), gave an online lecture on the topic of Gandhi’s relationship in Hum Asr India on Zoom in which students and employees of the university participated.The competition to create a digital poster was also held on this occasion, for which the participants were asked to submit their poster online.
