The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has clarified confusion regarding minimum qualifying marks for the Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2025, announcing that no minimum passing marks have been prescribed for the examination. The recruitment test for 1,100 posts in the Animal Husbandry Department is scheduled to be held on April 19, 2026.
According to the Commission, following the amendment to Rajasthan Animal Husbandry Service Rules, 1963 (Rule 19, dated May 23, 2022), direct recruitment is now conducted through a competitive examination instead of interviews. The revised rules do not include any provision for minimum qualifying marks, clearing doubts among candidates.
Exam Pattern:
Total Questions: 150 (Multiple Choice)
Total Marks: 150
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deduction for each wrong answer
The exam will be conducted in two parts:
Part A: General Knowledge of Rajasthan (40 questions, 40 marks)
Part B: Concerned Subject (110 questions, 110 marks)
The Commission also warned candidates against fake information circulating on social media, stating that a purported appeal dated November 15, 2025, is completely false. Legal action is being initiated against those spreading misleading information. Candidates have been advised to rely only on official notifications published on the RPSC website for accurate updates.
