‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, 1st Roadshow to be Organized in Mumbai on 30th August

In the run up to the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, which is scheduled to be held in December this year, Government of Rajasthan will organise the first domestic roadshow in Mumbai on 30th August 2024. Led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma and graced by Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, the event will feature signing of several investment related MoUs, launch of the Rising Rajasthan website, one-on-one discussions of Hon’ble CM with prominent Industry leaders among others.

Prominent Industry leaders who have invested in Rajasthan will share their experiences of investing in Rajasthan along with industrial transformation and infrastructure creation that they have witnessed under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Sharma. Moreover, the roadshow will also raise awareness about the upcoming summit and attract valuable investors to Rajasthan and showcase the state as a hub of opportunities across sectors. A short film showcasing the recent spurt of investment in the state will also be displayed before the august attendees.

In addition to Hon’ble CM and Hon’ble Minister for Industries, top officials from Government of Rajasthan shall also be present in the Mumbai roadshow. This includes Shri Sudhansh Pant, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, Shri Shikhar Agrawal, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) to CM, Government of Rajasthan, Shri Ajitabh Sharma Principal Secretary (Industries Department) & Chairman, RIICO Ltd, Government of Rajasthan, Shri Rohit Gupta, Commissioner, Industries Department and Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), Government of Rajasthan, along with other top officials.  

Organized in participation with Summit Industry Partner, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the first domestic roadshow at India’s commercial capital, Mumbai, will set the tempo for subsequent domestic and international roadshows that are going to be organized at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, UAE and Saudi Arabia, UK, and Germany in September-October this year. A high-level delegation of officials of the Government of Rajasthan will be traveling around the globe, inviting investors, institutions, corporations, and industries to invest in Rajasthan.

Besides the roadshows, Government of Rajasthan will also be organising several regional summits and sectoral pre-summits across different cities of the states with an aim to interact with existing industries and entrepreneurs of the state and upcoming investors. This includes organising pre-summit meetings on sectors like tourism, urban development, IT & ITeS, Industries, Agriculture, Mines and Petroleum, Energy, Medical and Health and Education during the months of October and November.

About the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024:
The Government of Rajasthan, led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, will be hosting the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 on 9th, 10th, and 11th December 2024 in the capital, Jaipur. The 3-day mega summit, which aims to attract and facilitate global investment, innovation, and partnerships in the state, is organized with the support of the Industry and Commerce Department, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), and RIICO, with BIP serving as the nodal department for this summit. During the summit, special plenary sessions will be organised on different focus sectors, including Agriculture, Renewable, Education and Skilling, Auto and EV, Infrastructure, Chemical and Petro-chemical, Tourism, Startups, Mining and ESDM/IT and ITeS and others. Through the summit, the Government of Rajasthan aims to bring investments to these focus sectors, so as to achieve the dream of making the state into a USD 350 billion economy in next 5-6 years.
