The Rajasthan government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, has launched the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana (MYSY) to promote self-employment among the state’s youth and expand livelihood opportunities beyond government jobs. Applications under the scheme have now commenced.
Additional Chief Secretary (Industries & Commerce) Shri Shikhar Agrawal informed that eligible youth can apply online through their SSO ID or e-Mitra centres. The scheme was formally launched by the Chief Minister on 12 January, and detailed guidelines were issued on 15 January. Within ten days of the launch, the application process has been made operational. District General Managers have been directed to ensure wide publicity so that maximum youth can benefit.
Objective and Financial Support
The scheme aims to support one lakh youth in establishing their own enterprises. Under MYSY, interest-free loans up to ₹10 lakh will be provided for setting up micro-enterprises in the manufacturing, services, and trading sectors. The state government will reimburse 100 percent of the interest, along with margin money up to ₹50,000 and CGTMSE (Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises) fees.
Official Statement
Industry and Commerce Commissioner Shri Suresh Kumar Ola stated that, in line with the Chief Minister’s vision, the scheme will provide comprehensive financial support to youth for setting up their own industries. With full interest reimbursement, CGTMSE fee reimbursement, and margin money assistance, the initiative is expected to catalyse new enterprises and generate further employment opportunities.
Benefits Under the Scheme
Applicants educated from Class 8 to Class 12:
Services/Trade: up to ₹3.5 lakh interest-free loan
Manufacturing: up to ₹7.5 lakh interest-free loan
Margin money: up to ₹35,000
Graduates, ITI-qualified, and higher-qualified applicants:
Services/Trade: up to ₹5 lakh interest-free loan
Manufacturing: up to ₹10 lakh interest-free loan
Margin money: up to ₹50,000
Application Process
Log in to the SSO Citizen App and click on the “Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar (MYSY)” icon.
Fill in personal details, district, type of enterprise, proposed workplace address, project details, and upload required documents.
Provide details of the bank branch from which the loan is sought.
Applications will be reviewed in weekly meetings at the District Industries and Commerce Centre and forwarded to the concerned banks.
