Rajasthan Budget 2026 Live: 250 Atal Pragati Paths Announced
To achieve the vision of a developed Rajasthan by 2047, expanding rural connectivity has been identified as essential. With the aim of providing residents of rural areas facilities comparable to urban regions, the construction of Atal Pragati Paths had been announced. Continuing this initiative, the 2026 Budget proposes the development of 250 Atal Pragati Paths, with works estimated at a cost of ₹500 crore.
Rajasthan Budget 2026 Live: ₹2,000 Crore Allocated for Roads
Keeping in view the need for construction of new roads along with improvement and renewal of existing roads in Rajasthan, a provision of ₹1,400 crore has been made for road strengthening and upgradation, while ₹600 crore has been allocated for missing link roads.
Rajasthan Budget 2026 Live: Government Targets Previous Congress Regime
The government stated that it has worked to steer Rajasthan out of the financial mismanagement of the previous Congress administration while encouraging investment to further strengthen the state’s economy. Alongside social and economic development, the government also highlighted its focus on making Rajasthan a green state and ensuring environmental protection, noting that it presented the state’s first Green Budget last year.

Industrial & Infrastructure Push
₹400 crore allocated for development of industrial areas.
Revamp of 11 BOT roads (435 km) with an outlay of ₹435 crore.
₹500 crore earmarked for repair of roads and culverts damaged by rains.
Construction of 15 new ROB/RUB with a cost of ₹920 crore; DPR to be prepared for 26 additional locations.
1,000 km roads to be upgraded to highways and 2,000 km to major district roads.

Major investment planned to ease congestion and improve safety at railway crossings.
Budget Size
Finance Minister Diya Kumari announced a record budget size of ₹21,52,100 crore, marking a 41.39% increase over last year.
Government’s 10 Resolutions
The Finance Minister reiterated that the government has adopted 10 key resolutions as foundational pillars to implement the Viksit Rajasthan development roadmap.
Focus on Social Security and Farmers
Diya Kumari emphasized that social security and farmers’ welfare remain top priorities.
Over 91 lakh beneficiaries have received nearly ₹28,400 crore in pensions under social security schemes.
More than ₹10,900 crore has been provided to farmers under the Kisan Samman Nidhi, aimed at strengthening farm income and the agricultural economy.
