Rajasthan Budget 2024 LIVE Updates: Government to Recruit 1650 Employees in Rajasthan Roadways, Connect 25 Lakh Homes with Water Supply
Today in Rajasthan, Finance Minister Diya Kumari is presenting the annual budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 in the Assembly. This is the first full budget of the current BJP government in the state. The budget session of the 16th Legislative Assembly is currently underway.
Possibility of several major announcements in the budget, including massive government job recruitments and other initiatives aimed at public welfare, is anticipated. The interim budget had already hinted at various pro-people measures, which might be expanded upon in this budget session.
During the budget presentation, Finance Minister Diya Kumari announced the government's commitment to recruit over 4 lakh government employees for youth development and addressing their issues over the next five years, with proposals for more than 1 lakh positions this year alone.
