Two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal entered the last 16 with a 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 victory over French veteran Jo-Wilfried Tsonga last night.
In the Women’s Singles, Ashleigh Barty cruised into last 16 beating British wild card Harriet Dart 6-1, 6-1.
She has entered the last 16 of the tournament for the first time. Seven-time champion Serena Williams also entered the last 16 beating German Julia Goerges 6-3, 6-4.
In the women’s singles, Barty and Williams could meet in a blockbuster quarter-final if they win their last 16 matches tomorrow.
