“A monkey was seen deeply immersed in devotion during Hanuman Ji’s aarti in a temple.”
The post quickly went viral, with users presenting it as a real-life spiritual moment.
🧪 The Investigation
On closely examining the video, PTI Fact Check noticed several visual inconsistencies and anomalies, raising suspicion about its authenticity.
To verify, the video was analysed using AI detection tools:
Hive Moderation identified the video as 97% AI-generated.
Sightengine, another AI detection platform, assessed it as 98% AI-generated.
These independent analyses strongly indicate that the video was created using artificial intelligence and does not depict a real event.
