A plethora of national and international dignitaries, including leaders from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, have received invitations to attend. Security measures have been significantly heightened across the capital, with Rashtrapati Bhawan enveloped in a three-tier security blanket until June 11. Additionally, the Delhi-NCT area has been designated a no-fly zone to prevent drone activity.
The oath-taking ceremony, slated for 7:15 p.m., will be officiated by President Draupadi Murmu. Given the large number of attendees, security has been bolstered around Rashtrapati Bhawan and throughout the city.
To ensure safety, a substantial deployment of traffic, police, and Army personnel has been implemented. Approximately 1,100 traffic personnel have been deployed, briefed on protocols, and have undergone rehearsals. A public advisory regarding traffic movement has also been disseminated.
