The Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika), Rural Development Department, Government of Rajasthan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, is organizing a “National Workshop on Agriculture and Livestock Entrepreneurship” in Udaipur from November 11 to 13, 2025.
The workshop will be inaugurated by Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena, Hon’ble Minister, Rural Development Department, and Shri Otaram Dewasi, Hon’ble Minister of State.
On this occasion senior officials from the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, State Mission Directors and Chief Executive Officers from all States and Union Territories, representatives from financial institutions, academic and development organizations, as well as officials from Rajeevika and members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) will participate.
This three-day national workshop will primarily focus on strengthening agriculture and livestock entrepreneurship to promote sustainable rural livelihoods.
The main objective of this event is to expand sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural communities through agriculture and livestock-based enterprises, while also fostering knowledge and experience sharing among various states and institutions.
During the workshop, detailed discussions will be held on key themes such as entrepreneurship models, innovation, value chain development, financial inclusion, and women empowerment. This initiative represents a significant step towards strengthening the rural economy and will pave the way for a self-reliant rural India.
